Carmi and Rich went to Mt. Rainier for a couple days. Here are some pictures from their special time.

Hot Tubbing in 30 degree weather. Afterwards having homemade grilled steak and vegetables with grape cider. Then going on a hike in the snow. The rest is our private story.

December 2008

Well, as can be seen by the pictures we had a white Christmas here in Seattle, WA. There were several days of snow and very cold temperatures (as low as 17 degrees). The snow makes Rich start to miss Alaska. Some say once a person has lived in Alaska, they may leave, but they will sooner or later come back to Alaska. But then again, all the snow in Alaska made Rich want to move from Alaska.

In October 2008 we did a missions trip to Uganda. We preached and taught in the Uganda prisons, a Bible College, a church, and in a village. We were amazed at the receptivity to the Gospel, and all the smiles of the people even though they live in poverty. Just a bar of soap and a piece of bread brought joy to the inmates (many that are in the prison have committed very minor offenses, or may not even be guilty).
